So i went to chicago to visit my friends and attend the architecture biennial. I stayed at my friend @wavyid's house.

That night was the party before the opening of the Chicago Architecture Biennial, a prestigious art show featuring work by architects. My friend Dave Ramis was in the show, and I was on the "team" because I helped him create the Color Aid Painter which he used to create the paintings that he showed.

It was a famous house in Chicago's Gold coast. After that, we wandered over to the bar.

It had a bunch of cool paintings on the wall that the owner of the bar painted himself.

A bunch of famous actors and especially comedians have rolled through this bar, getting their picture painted and put on on the wall as a tribute.

SHIFT: Architecture In Times of Radical Change

The next day, was the opening of the show. It was at the chicago Cultural center.

The cultural center itself is really cool, architecturally.

The exhibit was pretty big spanning the whole floor of the building, but not as big as previous years because it was actually split up amongst various locations in chicago, which we did not visit.

Dave had to give a little speech about his work which was cool.

For a last minute submission to the show, i thought it turned out amazing.

Daves work consisted of 3 paintings created using a UV printer. The printer was given several layers that were dissected from the GLTF model that was downloaded from making the painting in the color aid painter game.

The work is simply about "the painterly within architecture"

There were some other cool things in the show as well.

You are destined to become an architect.

Architecture models are pretty cool.

And here was a funky sculpture near the entrance to the exhibit.
